Please watch the video above to get the gist of what it takes to install your wet wall panels. We've included some extra information below too, so please read this page thoroughly as well.

Step #1: Clean Area

Thoroughly clean the entire area to remove any grease and dust. Using a degreaser is recommended, followed by drying the area and wiping off any remaining dust with a microfiber cloth. Failure to clean the area adequately may result in improper adhesion of the adhesive, potentially causing significant issues in the future.

Step #2: Trim and Secure the Internal Corner

It's advisable to plan the installation process from one side to the other. Measure and cut lengths as needed. Attach the internal corner to the wall using a staple gun and adhesive, or twelve-millimeter screws at the trim's edge.

Step #3: Measure and Trim Panel to Fit Height

Measure the height of your wall and check it against the height of the bathroom wall panel. If the panel is too long, trim it to the correct height for your first panel. Repeat this process for all subsequent panels.

NOTE : Cutting Around Fittings

When cutting around bath or shower fixtures, maintain a two-millimeter gap to be filled with sealant post-installation. For cutting around showers or bath trays, ensure a four-millimeter gap and consider using a shim for precision. Allow a 24-hour curing period for the panels before reattaching shower accessories.

Step #4: Test Fit Panels

Before applying adhesive, always test fit the panel against the wall to verify the accuracy of cuts and ensure that the panels are level.

Step #5: Applying Adhesive

Use two tubes of adhesive for each wet wall panel in a serpentine pattern. This equates to approximately 600ml of adhesive per panel. Adjust the amount proportionately if you have cut a section of the panel. Additionally, utilize double-sided tape to level the panel from the back and provide support. After applying the adhesive, affix the panel to the wall. Apply pressure evenly across the panel to eliminate any air pockets and ensure a smooth finish.

Step #6: Installing End Cap (if Applicable)

If an end cap is being utilized, trim it to the correct length. You can affix it to the panel before installation, ensuring that adhesive is applied to the back of the end cap.

Step #7: Seal Gaps with Sealant

This step is crucial! After installing the panels, it is essential to fill all gaps with sealant. This includes above and below the panels, as well as around any cuts made. The tongue and groove panel connections are inherently waterproof, so there is no need to apply sealant to them.

Step #8: Allow 24 Hours Before Installing Accessories

Wait for 24 hours to allow the panels to fully cure before attaching fixtures, accessories, or drilling holes in the wall panels. This final touch-up should only take an hour or two on your next visit to complete the installation.

Step #9: Completion!

After the sealant has dried and accessories have been installed, you can now fully enjoy your wall panels.
